Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.
Duties
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of any shortages.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of custodial practices and floor care techniques.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Good communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in interactions with guests and staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
