Job Title: Cloud-Native Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Native Auto-Scaling Engineer with deep expertise in KEDA and other auto-scaling frameworks to join our dynamic DevOps and SRE ecosystem. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud-native solutions, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain auto-scaling solutions using KEDA and other relevant tools for cloud-native workloads.
• Provide technical documentation and guidance for the adoption of KEDA in GCP environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to analyze application traffic patterns and define appropriate scaling triggers.
• Integrate and manage GCP-native services such as Google Cloud Pub/Sub, GKE Ingress, and Kafka for event-driven scaling.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and Spinnaker.
• Ensure observability and monitoring of scaling behavior and performance metrics.
• Drive best practices for cloud-native architecture, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Participate in performance tuning, cost optimization, and incident response related to scaling infrastructure.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with KEDA or similar auto-scaling frameworks in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially Pub/Sub, GKE, and Ingress controllers.
• Proficiency in event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and Spinnaker.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, YAML).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect).
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

Work Site : Atlanta, GA / Hybrid 3 days Onsite

Duration: 6 Months
