We're seeking a creative, sports-savvy Social Media Coordinator to handle social media management for The Volume and related shows. This includes posting on social media, writing captions, creating original content, and engaging with audiences while collaborating on strategy and trends. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of sports, a keen understanding of social media style tailored for our audience, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while creating highly engaging content.

This is a remote contract position (approx 20-30 hours a week). Compensation subject to experience and location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create original content reacting to the latest news and updates across sports and our shows (photoshops, gifs, quote templates, memes, etc.)
  • Post Volume content, inclusive of the brand handles and all of the show handles,  social platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Coordinate regularly with Head of Digital on data tracking, trends, and strategy

Who You Are:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the social media industry
  • Strong passion for sports talk content
  • Possess an active knowledge of sports, with an emphasis on NFL, NBA and college football
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
  • Clever and humorous caption writing style
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong eye for top performing content
