Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SubArc Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and be comfortable working in a fab shop environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. As a SAW, SMAW, and FCAW Welder, you will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling tanks, pressure vessels, and bottles ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Duties

• Perform welding tasks using welding techniques on various materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Utilize power tools and machinery effectively for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components.
• Fabricate metal parts according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Experience with Subarc, Fluxcore, Mig, Stick, and Gouge 2 yrs min.
• Knowledge utilizing rollers, over cranes, forklift and antilog equipment.

Skills

• Proficient in using rigging equipment for lifting heavy materials.
• Strong understanding of calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
• Experience working in a fab shop with the ability to adapt to various conditions.
• Familiarity with machining processes related to metal fabrication.
• Competent in basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills for interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
