Job Title: Software Application Tester

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Tester with hands-on experience testing enterprise software applications on rugged mobile devices (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell, Android handhelds) and RFID-enabled hardware. The ideal candidate will validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications across various device types, ensuring a seamless experience for end users in warehouse, logistics, and field service environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test enterprise applications on mobile devices including Zebra, Honeywell, and other rugged handhelds.

• Conduct RFID hardware and software integration testing, verifying tag reads, accuracy, and performance under different environments.

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing across multiple devices and operating systems.

• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., GitHub, JIRA).

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team to ensure requirements are met.

• Validate device configurations, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular), and peripheral integrations (scanners, printers, RFID readers).

• Write and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

• Provide clear reports of test results

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in testing applications on rugged handheld devices (Zebra, Honeywell, etc.).

• Experience with QA tools (JIRA, GitHub or equivalent).

• Ability to create structured test cases and document test results clearly.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with RFID technology (RFID readers, RFID tags).

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Asset Management System (AMS), Inventory Management System (IMS), logistics.

• Knowledge of barcode scanning, RFID workflows using RFID scanner and RFID fixed reader with antenna.
