Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care and services at a facility in Chatham, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be required to assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

• Rate: $33-$51 (Pay rate will be determined by the facility based on qualifications and experience)

Requirements:

• Active Virginia license
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
• Record patients medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients condition.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
• Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients condition.
• Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by facility.
