Job Description A healthcare insurance company is looking for a Business Intelligence Quality Assurance Tester to join their team remotely to ensure the accuracy and reliability of their BI report builds for MicroStrategy, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot. The role involves leveraging build documentation to perform comprehensive QA testing for a complex migration project, which transitions a large Excel-based report sourced from Teradata to a MicroStrategy-enabled UI portal powered by Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Teradata, BigQuery, and MicroStrategy, as well as strong SQL proficiency for data extraction and validation. Responsibilities include executing manual, regression, functional, and end-to-end testing, validating data quality, and identifying root causes of defects while collaborating closely with technical Product Owners, BI Engineers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for creating test plans, documenting findings, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
