Rehabilitation Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Position Location: Le Mars, IA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8s Pay: $2,315/week Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Physical Therapist (PT) to join a healthcare facility in Le Mars, IA, on a travel contract. The PT will assess and treat patients requiring rehabilitative care following illness, injury, or surgery, with a focus on restoring function, improving mobility, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and skilled in providing evidence-based physical therapy across a variety of patient populations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to determine rehabilitation needs and functional goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations and patient objectives.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including strengthening, gait training, mobility exercises, and balance activities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safe mobility, and home exercise programs.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Maintain a safe and supportive rehabilitation environment while adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Iowa (or compact license).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• COVID vaccine and recent TB test.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
