Role:Product Designer
Location:New York, NY.
On site. Full time.

About the job:
Advantra is partnering with a Series A CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire a Product Designer to lead the design of AI tools that automate manual work for retail brands.

About the role:
You will lead design for Confido's core products, including AI-enabled accounting and planning tools. You will create prototypes, refine workflows, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape user experience and visual design. You will help set design standards, systems, and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead UX and UI design for significant product features.
2. Rapidly prototype new tools and workflows.
3. Conduct and synthesize user research sessions with CPG customers.
4. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement design solutions.
5. Develop and maintain design systems and brand guidelines.
6. Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
7. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
8. Contribute to long-term product vision and strategy.
   
   
   
   

Core requirements:

1. 3+ years of product design experience in startups or fast-moving environments.
2. End-to-end UX and UI design experience for complex workflows.
3. Strong visual design skills and understanding of UX principles.
4. Experience conducting customer research and presenting findings.
5. Ability to create prototypes for web or SaaS products.
6. Familiarity with design collaboration tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.).
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Experience working with engineers to implement designs.
9. Portfolio of shipped product design work demonstrating problem-solving.
10. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple design initiatives.
    
    
    
    

Nice to have:

1. Experience designing AI-enabled software or dashboards.
2. Familiarity with CPG or retail software workflows.
3. Experience building design systems for scaling products.
4. Experience in cross-functional leadership or mentorship.
5. Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards.
