We are seeking an employee who is passionate about helping customers see clearly! Have the technical skills to provide exceptional service! Join our team as an Optical Eye Glass Technician and Front Desk Associate, and help our clients see the world with clarity and confidence.

Optical Technician to assist our clients with eye wear for purchase: selecting the right eye glass fit that looks and feels good on them. Assisting the front desk with clerical duties.

• Sales and multi-tasking are most beneficial. For glasses wearers, you will explain the differences between lenses and help them choose flattering eyeglass frames.
• Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their style and fit properly.
• Keep the display case neat.
• Obtain customer data and insurance information for keeping accurate records of prescriptions and transactions.
• Verify insurance coverage and explain out-of-pocket costs to the client.
• Once selected, enter their choices and prescription into the system to place their order and communicate how long it will take for completion and delivery.
• Adjust frames and lenses to ensure they are comfortable and provide optimal vision correction.
• Repair and maintain eyeglasses, including replacing lenses and adjusting frames.
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance of their eyeglasses.
• The ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Friendly demeanor.
• Proficient with basic computer programs.
• The role is responsible for selling, fitting, and dispensing eyewear to customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• MUST be a Texas or Louisiana resident with a valid Driver's License and Social Security card.

Work hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m.--5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. 

Pay range is $15.00 per hour.

Dress Code is royal blue scrubs.
