Join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to inspire, educate, and empower! In this role, you’ll help PACU staff build confidence and skill through evidence-based learning, bridging the gap between research and real-world practice. You’ll design and deliver creative education that keeps our team sharp, our patients safe, and our care top-notch.

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

1. Licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the District of Columbia.
2. Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline preferred or must be matriculated into a master’s program within nine months of employment.
3. Certification as a CCRN preferred or obtained within 9 months of hire.
4. At least three to five years of recent RN PACU nursing experience required.
5. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a R.N. in unit specialty.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate a caring demeanor toward others.
8. Demonstrated ability to work professionally and collaboratively with others.
9. Proficient computer skills related to traditional business management functions including Microsoft Office Programs.
10. Active CPR required
11. Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching experienced/inexperience or nursing staff and nursing students.
