Job Description

Core Responsibilities :

1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the existing integration landscape.

2. Design & Development : Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and external clients to design and develop new integrations.

3. Migration & Modernization : Lead the effort to migrate the existing API integration code to a Low-Code/No-Code solution.

Technical Environment & Requirements:

• The current environment involves integrations with 12 external applications (e.g., LDAP, SolarWinds, T-Mobile).
• Integrations primarily use the REST API protocol and are approximately 7 years old.
• The integrated ServiceNow modules include Customer Service Management (CSM), Field Service Management (FSM), and Event Management .
• Strong experience with JavaScript and GlideAPI is a mandatory technical requirement.
• Done multiple integration and if possible then helped in migration from old legacy integration
• We want to see integration exp in other areas apart from integrations with LDAP, workday, Okta, SolarWinds, these are good but integration with other applications would be really nice
• Integration Methods: Proficiency in all available methods, including REST/SOAP APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, Scripted REST APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
• Scripting: Advanced JavaScript and Glide API knowledge for both client and server-side logic (Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.).
  Authentication & Security: Expertise in various authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, Mutual TLS, API keys) and security best practices, including ACLs and data validation.
• Data Management: Deep understanding of data mapping, the CMDB, and strategies to prevent data duplication (using correlation IDs or coalesce fields).
• Architecture & Design: Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant integrations, choosing the right approach based on data volume, velocity, and complexity.
