Overview
You are someone who has basic foundational kitchen and food preparation knowledge, eagerness to learn, and who is willing to embody Second State Coffee values of consistency, inclusivity, quality, and approachability. You work well with others and are a reliable team member.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch menu items in a café environment, assisting with food prep, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. You should be able to work on a flat top and gas grill, execute eggs to orders, follow basic recipes and instructions, and be able to uphold food safety standards.
Good work life balance. Kitchen hours 630am (730 on weekends) - 3pm
