Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry. **Job Summary:** The Iron Technician I provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components. **Additional Information:** + Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position. + Starting Pay: $21.90, additional based on experience + Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, currently working 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, rotating schedule 10 days on 4 days off + Overtime based on business need, weekends as needed **What you will do:** + Process incoming iron starts to finish.  Able to accept equipment from delivery, recertify equipment, load equipment for delivery, complete all associate paperwork, perform quality check, and manage inventory (without supervision) + Assists Iron Technicians during the disassembling phase + Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components + Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections + Ability to demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) + Ability to identify SPM and Customer product + Ability to assemble flow control product + Nondestructive Testing Trainee (NDT Trainee) + Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee + Demonstrates computer skills for the SPM AMP System + Inventory Incoming Iron + Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area + Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met + Performs other routine duties as assigned **What you will have:** + Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience _is desired but not required_ + Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic + Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers and screw drivers + Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment **Physical Demands** **:** + Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear + Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl + Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus + Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department **Work Environment:** + Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles + Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions + Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration + Noise Level: Moderate  **Summary Pay Range:** $21.90 - $29.35 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
