We are seeking a Hospice Director of Nursing (DON) who can guide our clinical team with vision, accountability, and heart. This is a leadership role for a nurse who thrives on mentoring others, ensuring quality, and stepping in where needed. What You’ll Do * Provide overall clinical leadership for our hospice team, ensuring state, federal, and accreditation compliance * Mentor, support, and inspire hospice nurses — celebrating wins, offering constructive guidance, and fostering growth * Partner with the marketing team and community providers to strengthen census and expand awareness of hospice care * Monitor clinical quality indicators to drive patient-centered excellence * Step into the field when needed, leading by example * Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and aides to ensure holistic, compassionate care What We’re Looking For * Current RN license in Oklahoma * At least 2 years of hospice leadership experience preferred * Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills * Compassionate yet firm leadership style with a focus on accountability * Knowledge of state/federal hospice regulations and best practices * Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance Pay & Benefits * Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 (based on experience) * Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Mileage Reimbursement * Ongoing leadership training and professional development * Discounted tuition at Rasmussen University to continue your nursing education See how we live our mission every day: Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City on Facebook
