Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated GIS Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to support business operations and provide valuable insights through data analysis and visualization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for geospatial technology and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities: - Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data from diverse sources, including GIS, aerial imagery, and LiDAR. - Build, maintain, and update GIS databases and create maps to support business operations. - Conduct advanced spatial analyses, such as network analysis, buffer analysis, and geostatistical evaluations. - Design and produce detailed maps and visualizations using tools like ArcGIS and other GIS software. - Develop GIS-based strategies to tackle business challenges, including optimizing routes, selecting sites, and managing resources effectively. - Research and implement the latest GIS technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS-based insights into various workflows and decision-making processes. - Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. - Provide training and technical support to team members on GIS tools and best practices. Requirements - Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and related tools. - Experience with Cisco, Citrix, and cloud technologies. - Strong understanding of computer hardware and backup solutions. - Knowledge of Dell technologies and Active Directory management. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to analyze and visualize complex spatial data effectively. - Familiarity with geospatial data sources, including aerial imagery and LiDAR. - Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
