The Echo Tech is responsible for performing echocardiograms in a one-person department. This role requires a technician who is fully trained in echocardiography. The position does not require floating between units, on-call duties, weekend work, or block schedules. The expected patient ratio is 7-8 per day.

Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Prepare room and supplies for procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation for diagnostic tests.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs and report malfunctions.
- Answer unit phone and direct calls accordingly.
