Location: Remote (New Jersey-based) ONLY NJ CANDIDATE

Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Attorney admitted in NJ and NY to join our growing team. This is a fully remote role; however, candidates must reside in New Jersey or nearby areas for occasional court appearances. Youll work closely with clients, leverage AI tools, and provide high-quality legal support across a variety of matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, compliance documents, policies, and legal memoranda.
• Provide legal support for physicians, medical practices, nonprofits, and business clients.
• Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, demand letters, and client correspondence.
• Handle matters in employment, education, environmental, and business law.
• Communicate directly with clients under an Outside Counsel Subscription Service (OCSS) model.
• Attend New Jersey court appearances as required.
• Contribute to process improvement and development of scalable legal playbooks.

Qualifications

• Active NJ and NY Bar admission (required).
• Residency in New Jersey or proximity for court obligations.
• Full-time availability preferred (structured part-time considered if primary focus).
• Excellent legal writing, sound judgment, and strong communication skills.
• Growth mindset with the ability to thrive in a cloud-based, AI-enabled practice.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with legal technology or AI-driven workflows.

Technical Requirements

• Confidential, quiet workspace.
• Laptop/desktop with reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and headset.
• Professional presence in virtual client meetings and court appearances.
